Ela Sefcikova

Ela Sefcikova holds an MPhil in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic from the University of Cambridge (2021). She defended her PhD in Scandinavian Studies at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in April 2026. The title of her thesis was 'Myth, Mischief and Malice: A Queer Perspective on Loki in Medieval Icelandic Texts' and her research interests include manuscript studies and philology, gender studies and the history of science.
